The Tampa RV Super Show: Read Before You Go!
The Florida RV Super Show in Tampa, hosted by the Florida RV Trade Association, is coming and there is a lot to know! Whether you are attending this show, or others, read this before you go for some helpful tips!

We have some details for the Tampa Super Show, and links to their resources. We’ve also got our FREE RV SHOW PRINTABLE you can print in advance and stay focused and organized.
RV shows are something people either love or hate, and understandable on both sides. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with so much to learn, see, and do. Having a plan and pacing yourself, as well as a set a budget can set you up for success. If you can, take advantage of getting 2 days on your admission so you have one day to plan and wander, and the other to complete transactions.
SUPER SHOW BASICS This year, the show runs from January Wednesday 14 through Sunday January 18, 2025. Wednesday-Saturday it is open from 9AM-6PM, and Sunday 9AM-4PM.
It is located at the Florida State Fairgrounds, 4800 US Highway 301 North, Tampa, FL 33610. Traffic can get backed up on both 301 and I-4, so be prepared and find your exit/lane in advance.
Pets are welcome, but it can be crowded and they can get overwhelmed, so plan accordingly.
It is a pretty spread out show with lots of walking, so if mobility is an issue, check out their website for scooter rentals, too!
You can find all this information and more at the Florida RV SuperShow website
CAMPING NEAR (OR AT) THE SHOWS [[2025 information]]As of this blog, there were no electric camping spots available, but non-electric is still available. The $400 fee includes 5 nights of camping plus 2 wristbands for admission to the show for all 5 days, too. They only schedule online, and entry is through a different gate, so read carefully. You can find the link to make those reservations here.
There are many other campgrounds along I-4 from Lakeland to Tampa to choose from. The RV show website also has a link to camping in the area, you can also find that here.
Just keep in mind that if you camp offsite, you’ll need to pay for parking and admission separately.
PARKING AND ADMISSION Parking is $12 per Car, $20 per RV, and they do take cards, but I can tell you from experience that cash moves faster. Admission is $15/person for a 2 day pass (children 16 and under are FREE), with a $2 discount for Military/First Responders daily, and $2 discount for senior citizens Wednesday-Friday. You can purchase these online in advance on their website, linked here.
RV SHOPPING OR BROWSING Whether you are just getting started, or know exactly what you want, you will find it at the show. Their website claims they have representation from EVERY RV manufacturer at the show, which is great for you! Seeing RVs first hand can be so much better than even the virtual tours online. Plan to hang out in the ones you like for a bit, but the more popular floor plans and manufacturers can be crowded.
The RVs are organized by manufacturer, then each dealer will have salespersons on site to help you. They will seek a contract and deposit–get a copy and be sure it includes any handwritten notes they make. There are some great deals and often “show” prices that beat discounts any other time of the year, but do your research and compare to prices online and with other dealers. It’s not unusual for people to bounce back and forth between dealerships haggling prices.
Find a list of manufacturers and their websites here. If you have an idea of either features, manufacturers, or floorplans you are looking for, or you find some while browsing, don’t forget to use your FREE RV SHOW PRINTABLE from our website!
SUPPLY AND RESOURCE SHOPPING If it can be used with an RV, you’ll find it here. Even things that don’t have to do with RVs sometimes have booths! You can find parts, accessories, safety gear, upgrades, service vendors and repair technicians for anything you can think of. We found great deals on keyless entry from RV Locks and More, our Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring System, awning and stair upgrades, furniture and more. We found a great deal on our JLF Standup Paddleboard at the show, too. Many will get your information and ship to you, so you don’t have to carry larger items. You’ll also find membership booths for things like Campendium, RV Life, Thousand Trails, Harvest Host-Boondocker’s Welcome, and so many more (we can share our referral codes, if you are interested in one we have). We’ve also seen work camping jobs, seasonal jobs at state and national parks, and internships being represented on site for those looking for work on the road. As of the time of this blog, I couldn’t find a map or list for vendors, only a map of booth numbers from 2023 here, but assume since it is linked for this year, it will be the similar. This can be helpful since some will share that information on their website or when you see their commercials or ads.
MEET UPS You can find lots of social media influencers on site, and some host meet ups while they are there. At the time of this blog, they did not have the schedule up for this, so you can connect with your favorite people through their social media or check their pages, or look for schedules at the show, they usually have it posted at the meet up locations. The Influencers Meet N’ Greet spot is marked on the map at the Pavilion in the middle of the fairgrounds. The schedule is has been posted out front in the past.
SEMINARS If information is what you seek, they have seminars scheduled daily. You can find information on tours, maintenance, resources, or just basic how-to knowledge. Check out the seminar schedule here and plan accordingly since they don’t offer the same seminars daily.
NETWORKING There are many other RVers that attend these shows, even if they are not shopping or big influencers, so it’s a great place to make connections. Some may carry or wear branded gear, but mostly just talking to people is a great way to connect. You can find fellow travelers to connect with, so be sure to say hello and chat with people.
EATING If you like fair food, this is a great place to find it. Prices are as expected for fair food, and most take cash or card. Beware of the “great deals” like free refill cups as some may only be at that particular booth.
ENTERTAINMENT There are many entertainers wandering the show, as well. We’ve seen musicians, performers, and even animals all around for making it a fun experience. Unless you’re scared of clowns, then beware!
WHERE TO FIND US AT THE 2025 TAMP SUPER SHOW We will spend a few days at the show. Check Facebook to see what days we will be there! (FB: @barnesonmove). If you find us, we’ll have stickers–until we run out! I know our teenager will be finding the Empanada stand as often as we’ll allow.
If you have questions we didn’t answer here, drop them in the comments and we will do our best to answer them. Can’t wait to see you there!
