Why We Love the Beech Lane RV Leveling System
Leveling is a part of RV life. Heck, it’s a part of camping all together. It sucks walking on sloped ground, and even worse is trying to sleep on sloped anything.
Here is was our process. Pull into a spot, use the the iPhone as a level, and check the bumper for left/right level. Guess how many leveling blocks we needed to get close to level, and check again. Mind you, every time we add/remove a block, we have to pull the camper forward or backwards 3 to 5 feet.

We reached out to Beech Lane about their products, and they sent us their leveling system. This is a sensor that goes in the rig, and connects via Bluetooth to phone. The app shows the unlevelness of the camper in inches, not degrees, both front to back and left to right.

Installation is a breeze. With the camper level, screw the sensor on to the camper, relatively level. Put in the batteries. Go into the application, input your measurements, and start using it. It is that simple.

Now when we are pulling into a camp spot like the ones below, we look at the app, see how much adjusting we need to do to get close to level for our rig.

Place the number of blocks that matches the inches, and we are good to go!

This is a great addition to our rig even with the auto level. Major use case would be in smaller rigs. You level left right and then move the front up or down. This helps take the guess work and extra measuring off the table.
We love simplifying and taking the guess work out of setting up. I wish we would have added something similar on our last rig!
