Indian Lakes Campground – Thousand Trails – Review

We stayed at this campground for a few days between reservations while in the area to get a few down days to catch up on chores and work. It is an easy jump off the interstate, and is also a KOA campground, so the sites are marked for which is which.
This is a large campground with lots of amenities and plenty of room for walking, running or biking. We spent most of our time at the campsite, but went for several walks and used the dog park often–it’s one of the better ones and our pup would drag us there on her walks to do her zoomies, so she clearly liked it.

The check in process was easy and the staff were kind and helpful when we checked in and coming or going through the gate. The roadways are spacious and we had no issues maneuvering or parking our large rig. The neighbors were nice and we chatted with several other families while there.

There are beautiful pond areas and some trees, although the campsites where we were weren’t covered, but we had a clear line for our Starlink to work. The site we were on was full hookup and gravel parking, but roomy enough for our rig, parking and plenty of space for outside area, too.
If we are in this area again, we will add this to our list for a repeat visit, and recommend it for your list!
