We had a long list of places to explore and high hopes of checking them all off.

We have had rain pretty much our entire time in Alaska, and we’ve made the best of it! But the weather changed in our favor for our visit and views of Denali. Come along for our explorations of a mine and a mountain this week.
This week, we continue our journey to Alaska–albeit at a faster speed to get replacement parts for our broken landing gear and to get seen for a medical issue.
Come along for the wildlife, camping spots and getting some answers.
It’s finally time to start our journey south to California–we mean it this time!
We are trying a new (to us) way of travel since we have 900 miles to our next long stop!

Tillamook, OR, our first stop south has been on our list for awhile.
We found a great Harvest Hosts stop at a farm and it was just up the road from a Creamery we had our sites, and taste buds, set on!
In this week’s blog, we travel from the rocky desert of Idaho, across the Nevada desert, over the Sierra Nevada mountains and into the farmland of Northern California.
We stop at a few interesting places and watch the landscape change…and even survive the giant crickets!, all while enduring the summer heat.
