Join us as we continue the journey to Alaska. This week, we are traveling from Minnesota to Montana, dodging weather, seeing new and old friends, and preparing to cross into Canada next week!
With our time in Virginia closing, follow along as we head north to Ohio and West to Minnesota, spending a couple of weeks skirting along the shores of the Great Lakes, seeing friends, exploring new places and continuing west on our journey from Florida to Alaska.
We spent an entire month in Virginia and got to experience springtime’s highs and lows.
We divided our time between the Blue Ridge Mountains and our nation’s capital, helping friends and family with projects.
See what life held for this next leg of our travel season.
It is finally time to leave Florida and officially start the 2026 travel season!
Come along for our first week of travel and our first 3 stops, including springs, a farm, and the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina!
We count so many things in life, but what if we stopped?
Life has a way of complicating itself, doesn’t it? After a busy winter, it was time to reset and simplify.
Walk with me through goal setting and simplifying the routines to meet them.
What would you add to the list to simplify for the season you are in?
Our wishlist included visiting the Ren Fest and finding nearby camping–all on a budget.
We nailed both, and found a gem of a campground that is so awesome, we almost wanted to keep it to ourselves!
Check out this beautiful campground that allowed us to practically camp AT the Renaissance Festival!
We grew up in Florida, and roadside attractions were a standard part of 80’s kid childhood. But, somehow, we never made it to Solomon’s Castle…until this year!
Find out more about this great attraction in Central Florida…at least, as much as we can share since it is a “no photos allowed” location!
We love animals, but with limited space, there are only so many we can house, so we try to support rescues and refuges in our travels.
Hardee County has a great little refuge worth a visit! If you are looking to make a day of it, or find treats, we’ve got some suggestions for that, too!
