Yukon Trails Campground Review – Thousand Trails

While visiting Wisconsin, we stayed at this campground so we could visit Wisconsin Dells, Indoor Water Park Capital of the World. As Floridians, we’d only ever been to outdoor ones, so this was an adventure.
This Thousand Trails campgrounds is located just off the interstate, which made it convenient for our outing. However, it doesn’t have a lot of highway noise and is nestled in the trees. As with many of their campgrounds, there are a variety of areas to set up, but they are all quiet and and there are lots of trees on the property. Our location was water and electric only, but the dump station was easy to access, and we were near a bathhouse.

There are lots of amenities to make this an enjoyable stay, and they even have golf cart rentals available, if you need, although it wasn’t a large enough park that we needed one. There are lots of trails and places to walk. They have an “air strip” are that hosted events and a movie night while we were there. The office also has a small camp store, should you need anything.
Since we didn’t stay long and were there for water parks, sadly I didn’t get any photos of the campground except the one, oops!
